How Pluto differs from the other planets in solar system?
Question:
Answer:
It sure is much different, some of the differences are:-
It is v. small, smallest of all the planets..
It's orbit is highly elongated than others..
It does not lie on the same plane as others..
It's orbit also crosses other planets orbit.. etc...etc...
Its size is extremely small compared to other 8 planets, even to other objects in our solar system, such as an asteroid named ceres.
Its orbit is peculiar. It crosses through other planets' orbit.
i dont know-sorry
It's very small, smaller than earth's moon. And it has a very irregular orbit.
It is also similar to many more dwarf planets recently discovered.
It's really small and it's obviously the furthest away so it's cold. But anyway, since it's so small, the government or whatever are debating on whether or not to demote Pluto as a planet. It's more like an asteriod than a planet.
1-The smallest.
2-.The coldest
3-The farest
Pluto's orbital shape differs from other 8 planets. The planet’s orbit is so eccentric that at certain points along its path Pluto is slightly closer to the Sun than is Neptune.
Pluto is much more smaller than any other planets. Pluto is about 2,360 km in diameter, about two-thirds the size of Earth's moon.
it does not have a significant amount of weight as compared to other planets to have self gravity
MMM.
NO REASON FOUND
One of the biggest differences is that its orbit is much more eccentric and crosses the orbit of Neptune (more like an asteroid than a planet). It's orbit is also quite inclined to the ecliptic plane of the other planets (17 degrees).
"A celestial body that is in orbit around the sun, has sufficient mass for its self-gravity to overcome rigid body forces so that it assumes a nearly round shape, and has cleared the neighbourhood around its orbit." Pluto's orbit overlaps Neptune's. So Pluto is now disregarded as a planet. Now Pluto will be reclassified into a category of 'Dwarf Planets'.
Its size and unusual orbit, but the IAU feel it is just a fragment from the Kuiper belt
because it is made from ice
Pluto is a very small planet . It is about 39.4 A.U away from the sun.It is distracted by the gravitational force of neptune and is even small than the moon.
(1A.U=149.6 million Km.)
Pluto has recently been stripped of its recognition as a planet...this is because its orbit overlaps with that of neptune..moreover its path around the sun is a little peculiar.different from other planets
i think it is extremely small compared to the other planets.
