Does the solar system include constellations?

Question:
I'm doing a project for my mythology class where I have to relate Greek mythology to the modern world. It needs to include a visual, a modern example, and what the example is in Greek mythology. I need to give five examples from nature and can only use one example from the solar system. Are constellations apart of the solar system? If they are, what are some alternatives I can use that relate the modern world to greek mythology dealing with nature?

Answer:
The solar system does not, for constellation are far away.

However, the planets are names for Greek myths
In ancient times solar system is connected to the constallations. But in moder times solar system means the sun and the eight planets around it as well as the comet that go around the sun
No, the solar system does not include the constellations. The solar system includes our sun (that's one star) and the planets. Constellations are made up of other stars, and are therefore not in our solar system.

What about the Greek god Narcissus? Look up "Narcissus" and "narcissist" in wikipedia and see if you notice the connection between the two.
No, the solar system is made up of just the nine planets. However we are part of the Milky Way which is a galaxy made up of many constellations. If you want to relate Greek mythology to the modern world you can use religion as an example as the bible is a re-write of alot of Greek mythology such as Dyonisos and Odin and we still use the bible today
Constellations are not part of the solar system. They are patterns perceived in the stars from the perspective of viewers on Earth.

You are not smarter than a fifth grader...
The solar system is not part of a constellation.

How about the symbol of Hermes (Mercury) used as a symbol for the medical profession?
Constellations are groups of fixed stars. (A "fixed star" is a star that's so far away that it appears not to move.) There is only one star inside the Solar System (the Sun, or Helios to the Greeks), and it is not a fixed star. Therefore, there are no constellations in the Solar System.

The ancients considered the Sun to be one of the planets. In the classical Greek model, the planets were arranged incorrectly, but the fixed stars were correctly placed further away than any of the planets.

No, the solar system bodies were discovered as apart
of the celestial field (Mars, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn; are the one's they could see).
They knew they were detached from the outside universe, due to that fact they moved faster.
These bodies come in and out of constellations and this is what forms out ancient Greek 'Astrology'.
There are five types in associated nature (I don't know exactly if this is what you mean):
