Please suggest how best to improve my Solar Energy website.?
Question:
Lately I've been focused on adding stock / investing data, but I feel I should work to strengthen the other areas, or add any resouces that I'm missing.
Any good answers are appreciated. Also, if I'm missing a bunch of public companies in the industry, I'd love to see them.
Thanks in advance.

Answer:
1. front page, center menu, alter it so one see's the hand icon so they realize its a link, otherwise they most likely will not click between the " general, business, politics, etc ". I had to think about it to even click it.
2. Get the Yahoo finance off, just junk that clutters up space and takes up bandwidth.
3. Add some color to the text area, to help break it up, seems to washed out and hard to read. left bar where yahoo finance is, maybe make it a few shades in the light gray, same with right bar of home owners resources. " Special Reports " maybe put inside a colored bar, to help break up where reading begins.
4. get on youtube or google videos more, there are many more solar type vids out there, I know I have more than you on my favs alone.
5. besides solar, you getting into solar homes, strawbale homes, turbine wind power, earth ships?
6. What bout adding a listing of those that do solar install in each area. Good way to get some cash. Have each company that is advertised on your site for customers to find, charge them a small fee. Added up over many, can be some bucks.
7. Make your main title bigger, bolder. It seems like the site is un-named. Maybe put the name big across the center upper image.
8. Not to sure what the site is for or how you generate cash from it. I would maybe turn the "about us" page into the front page, or make it a section of the front page. Front page should be globs or blocks of each main item inside the site, as a quick jump start location.
9. Change the font to arial or verdana, times new roman is too hard to read, specially at that size of font. Most run 1024x768 as a screen size, so gear sites towards those measurements.
10. this was strickly constructive feedback, don't take it as I was bashing your site. Just giving opinion from what grabbed my attention in the first few seconds.
