A solar system filled with sand or the entire universe fill with stars, which do you think is more in numbers?

Question:

Answer:
The universe filled with stars
The universe filled with stars.
I'll begin filling a pail with stars and you begin filling a pail with sand, (don't forget to count the sand particles per pail). Then we'll multiply the amount of pails the solar system and universe will hold. Wow that's a tough one and i'm an astronomer .
Sand is easier to imagine as beoing more of because you can pick up thousands of grain of sand with just one hand. While stars is tricky because even though there are ..well countless.. stars they are spread out and hard to imagine them as being more than the number of grain of sand would be.

But my answer still to this day is sand.
Cool answer astro !
mine is sand

The solar system has a finite volume and the universe is infinite. Therefore, the universe with its stars.
Larger estimates put the number of stars in the universe at roughly 10^24. If a grain of sand is about 1 cubic millimeter in volume, 10^24 of them fill a volume of 10^6 cubic kilometers.

The volume of the earth alone is 4/3 * π * (6378 km)^3 = 1087000000000 cu. km, or roughly 10^12 cubic kilometers.

The answer is definitely sand.
