The next REALLY GOOD total eclipse is July 22, 2009, in India and China lasting 6 min:39 sec!!.The next solar eclipse in the USA is on May 20, 2012 but it is only annular and not total. The next total eclipse in the USA is August 21, 2017 lasting 2 min:40 sec.
