How are solar activity, cosmic rays & climate change connected as shown by the Danish National Space Center?
Question:
Answer:
I'm not sure what the Danes say about it but I do know that there is evidence that all of the planets in the inner solar system are heating up. We are supposed to be at a solar minimum but our star is throwing out CME's at an alarming scale.
As for cosmic rays there are Russian scientist that have a theory that we are entering the plane of our galaxy.
Much like Saturn our galaxy spreads out from a central core. The theory is that we are entering the plane of what would be the galactic equivalent of the rings. I'm no expert but that has to have some kind of electromagnetic consequences.
These things coupled with over population and more pollution are bound to have an effect on the planet in some way.
It's OK to deny these observations made by some of the top people in their fields but, we do so at our own great peril.
They aren't. But just out of curiosity--are the "deniers" even aware that the posssibility that globalwarming was caused by changes in solar radiation was one of the first things scientists checked and proved didn't cause the current global warming?
That was years ago. Every time these yucks post this tripe, they're jsut look stupid.
They put dots wherever needed and connect the dots to get the correct answer they what to have.
Good site. I've been trying to find more that show how the sun is a much larger factor than man is on the climate.
It appears that they do not take a side on whether or not man is influencing global warming (thank god) and i like that they state climate models dont account for all the variables (the IPCC uses 30,000 out of a possible 40,000,000 or < .2%.)
To answer the question at hand, they link the suns increasing energy levels and stronger cosmic rays to the slight warming currently happening and how all other planets are warming as well.
Personally, I believe the ocean and the sun account for over 96% of all climate variability if i had to take a guess. Its at least 85%, but if rain and clouds are factored in, it could be over 95%.
this is one of the best questions ive ever answered!
they are because all contribute to the helping or destroying of global warming. climate change can sometimes kill the ozone layer and sometimes help the ozone layer. the solar activity of your and our sun name 'Sol' can kill us all because of UV rays or ultra violet rays. that is why the ozone layer is there, to protect us all from dying of radio active rays. i already know that cosmic rays have to do with solar activity, and solar activity has to do with climate change, all are interconnected to some way. The Danish National Space Center is correct.
