Is there a temperature sensor that needs to be mounted to the collector on the solar panel?


Question:
Is there a temperature sensor that needs to be mounted to the copper pipes on the solar panels so that the temperature of the panels can be sent to the Differential temperature control so that the pump can be cycled on and off? If so, what is it called?

Answer:
Generally, a thermister or thermocouple, but you need to look on the specs for the control for what it uses and where it needs to be mounted.
