Question:
We had one of those pools where you blow up the ring and then the water raises up as you fill it. This year we are trying one of the metal frame pools but it is the same idea...a quick set pool. I was wondering if the solar covers will really work on it or would I just be wasting my money? My older kids could care less how cold it is...they could be swimming in ice cubes as long as they are in a pool. I have a special needs daughter and I would like to take her in the water with us and just wanted to see if we could warm it a tiny bit for her comfort.

i had one on a pool i had..it was great the first foot or so of water was really warm and underneath was cool not cold...it was nice on a long hot day..to hit that warm water and then the cool it was a great way to relax..
They work fine. Just turn the filter on, or send in the kids that swim in ice water, to mix the water. Solar covers warm the top and if you keep mixing it the whole pool eventually gets warmer. Good Luck!
