I would like to power some home appliances such as computer and tv how would i select solar panels for this?

Solar power is DC so most home apliances won't work. The panels are used to charge a battery bank and the batteries provide the power. it can be done but effectively you would need to rewire your house to work like a camper van or a yacht! Contact me directly if you are

We know that there is the direct water heating effect, used to heat pool water, or hot water through an exchange heater system, for baths.
We know that the panel at Harbor Freight can charge the car battery, if plugged into the cigarette lighter recepticle.
We know that solar cells to derive electricity are evolving, and we await the less expensive outcome.
You might be suffering a lack of awareness, and need to go out, look, listen, to the folks with homes on ranches and farms, in the far reaches, who have been using solar energy for 35 years.
