How do I convert my electricity to solar energy?
Question:
Answer:
You might want to start small-I have found that by reducing your energy needs, you can supply what you use with only a few panels and batteries.
There are lots of 12 volt appliances, and, you can run "Solar" through some parts of your existing system.
For billions of years, the sun has poured out huge amounts of energy in several forms, including light, heat, radio waves, and even x-rays. The Earth, in orbit around the sun, intercepts a very small part of the sun’s immense output. On Earth, direct sunlight is available from sunrise until sunset, except during solar eclipses. Solar collectors and modules are designed to capture some of the sun’s energy and change it from radiation into more usable forms such as heat or electricity. In fact, sunlight is an excellent source of heat and electricity, the two most important forms of energy we consume.
You can't (exactly). You can however convert it to ''light wave energy'' (with a light bulb).
There are a number of companies around that specialize in converting homes to use solar energy. Here's one good one, there should be someone in your area.

It is impossible to convert electricity to solar energy, but you can convert solar to electricity. If you are willing to get a loan for tens of thousands of dollars and pay it off later, the you can have most or all of your electricity from solar panels. All you have to do is purchase photovoltaic panels, a DC to AC inverter, a battery to store excess, and some wiring. You can get it all from corporations such as GE, and then hire people to install it. It pays off eventually, and it will give you the comfort knowing that are using clean, renewable energy for your home.
You would have to become a star. Good luck with that!
I think you might have the question backwards. How to convert solar energy to electric energy? Use the solar panels to make heat, the heat makes steam which is another form of energy. That energy you are making can then turn generators which in turn make electricity. You can make more than you utilize for your own needs and the electric company has to buy it back from you. The cost for creating such a project is enormous but can pay for itself in a relatively short time.
You will have to get solar panels....
buy solar panals and an iSun solar charger
The conversion to solar energy is feasible and cost saving in the long run.
Keep in mind that the technology is not cheap
If you can't do it yourself, specialized companies will calculate your needs and setup the following:
- Solar Panels
- Charger / Controller
- Batteries
- UPS (to convert 12 or 24Volts to 110 o 220Volts)
