Making my own solar panel?
Question:
Answer:
My aunt has an organic/going green magazine that has an article on making your own solar panels. Once I get a copy of it, I will try to get it to you. I want to build my own too!
That usually takes a $2 Billion 'fab' to produce. If you can do that at home, you'll be an instant Billionaire. ~
Easy there Heinz he is talking about building a panel not a cell. Cells are the little purple things you put together and put a protective clear case around and voila you have a panel. There are tons of place on the net that explain building your own panels.

Hi,
There are two detailed "how-to" articles on building your own solar panels from individual cells on my site here:

While I'm a very big fan of doing-it-yourself, I think that most people conclude that the savings is not that large for the amount of work you need to put in to make a panel.
There are hundreds of other solar and renewable energy "how-to"s for projects that you can build here -- many with very short paybacks -- all free :)
