Active and pasive solar energy system can anybody help to make model on dis topic?

Question:
physics

Answer:
Passive solar heating involves using the Sun's energy to directly warm a room. This is easily achieved by having large south facing windows (or a south facing conservatory) and small north facing windows (or the other way around if you live in the Southern hemisphere).

Active solar heating is using the Sun to warm a medium (most commonly water). This water may then be pumped around a house to provide heating. This method requires the use of a solar collector (or black box through which water pipes pass back and forth so the water inside heats up).

If you e-mail me then i'll send you a document on solar heating.
Passive would be using the heat from the sun by design of buildings etc. You can heat things up with the sun. So you might capture heat behind glass to make things warmer, or use convection of warm air to draw in cool air for ventilation. Even make a solar chimney to dry farm produce. http://www.fao.org/docrep/t1838e/t1838e0...
These are passive solar schemes. Active are solar cells.
What is the level of sophistication required for this model?

For example if only a concept demo is involved, one can demonstrate desalination using any sauce pan with a glass lid.
