The first solar eclipse of 2007 occurs at the Moon's ascending node in Pisces and is visible from eastern Asia and parts of northern Alaska (Figure 2). The next solar eclipse, which will be partial, occurs March 19 2007, and there's another partial one on September 11, 2007.
The next TOTAL solar ecipse is on August 1, 2008, but will only be visible across central Russia and the north of Mongolia.
