From the month of march to september earth will be in which side of our solar system?
Question:
towards the galaxy or empty space
Answer:
The center of our galaxy is 8000 parsecs away, in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius.
Fortunately since Sagittarius is also in the Zodiac, that's a means of determining that it's in line with the ecliptic (imaginary equator of the solar system) and in line with the plane that planets follow (with exception of Pluto which as a very inclined orbit with respect to the other planets).
Since Sagittarius is a summertime constellation (meaning it's visible at night in the northern hemisphere) that suggests to me that the Earth is on the side of the solar system facing Sagittarius (and therefore the center of our Galaxy).
Fun question. Thanks for asking.
COOL!
thers no left, right, up or down in space!
