Solar system?

Question:
who proposed a sun centered solar system?

Answer:
The Greek astronomer Aristarchus was the first to propose this, 1500 years before Copernicus did.
Nicolas Copernicus
(1473-1543)
Copernicus was the first, I think. Though a Greek, whose name escapes me for the moment, may have proposed it sooner.
It was Galileo who came up with the theory that our Sun is center of the Universe.
