What influence does solar angle have on heating the Earth??
Question:
please answer in a complete sentance
Answer:
It causes the seasons.
When the sun's rays strike the earth directly, like head on, they pass through less of the earth's atmosphere than when they come in at an angle. The atmosphere dissipates the ray's energy, so passing through a minimal amount of atmosphere will yield the most intense rays. That is why it is hotter in summer, when the sun is directly overhead, than in winter when the sun stays low in the sky.
