Anyone know how practical solar panels are,are they real expensive?wanted to install one building a new home?

Question: it's kinda in the middle of nowhere,, so i also need to know if one can be installed in the woods,, then energy cabled to the home. And how durable they are as far as leaving them in the weather ( snow, and ice)

your return on investment depends on your energy usage. iow, it is more cost effective for people who consume a lot of energy.

that said, it's great timing to consider when building a new home.

put solar panels in your search box. the main thing is you need to have lots of sunlight for it to work. if you are in the woods with a lot of trees around it may not be the best idea for you.
