How temperature affect solar panels?

Question:

Answer:
photovoltaic (for electricity) panels typically see their efficiency come down if the temperature goes over 25 degrees C (77 F).

solar panels with circulating hot water on the other hand, will enjoy all the heat they can get (provided they have safety valves so that they don't blow up).

hope this helps

a
It affects how long they last if they get too warm. There is an ideal temperature for these things and they do vary. The operating temperature is probably published in the specifications for the panel.
