seems easy but it's not.

is the solar car going to be your daily driver? or you just trying to make a car that moves off the sun's light. a daily driver would not happen in this day. it would be better to drive a 1990 geo metro and get 55mpg. that would be a lot cheaper on fuel and environment. just to make a car that moves is all custom. solar cells. batteries, electric motor, electric computer to convert the battery power to a pulse for accelerating, custom frame, custom breaks, custom suspension, custom steering. everything is custom. it is like having a electric motorcycle with a frame with solar panels on top. it wont have a fast speed and will cost at least 15,000 for a one person car. there is a solar powered race in Australia in the desert. you should look into the race and the cars they use. they are extreme!
