Is it a bit of a waste to use solar power to run a sun lamp?

Question:
taken from ' physics today'

Answer:
Not really, since one could run the sun lamp when and where the sun wouldn't be currently available (for example, at night or in areas that don't get much sun).
Well, it is sort of pointless...
Uh. kinda redundant, isn't it?
Reminds me of someone who drives 2 states over to pick up some biodiesel.
Took me a minute, but that's funny
All use of energy necessitates waste. Even the uses your body makes are ineffecient.
Thank you for your enlightening question.
HA!, I guess not if they use the sun lamp to charge other solar cells...
Energy from the sun will be wasted anyway if we don't use it. It may also be not sunny enough to get a tan but solar energy will still be available.
