Show different energy sources: gasoline, coal, nuclear, hydrogen, natural gas, wind, hydroelectric, and solar. Show the pollution each causes, the cost, efficiency, etc. Maybe have some models.
You can make your toy car run on solar power, but of course with a backup battery.
Or you can make simple solar cells from power transistors by carefully opening the casing
or you can make toy robots which works on solar panels.
heat absorbs in the solar panels and if the heat is stored during the day and not used during the day then you can use it at night. But if you store the energy during the night you can use it during the day. It only works for 18 hours.
