To the universe, yes it's very insignificant, but to us it's very significant. Depends on your perspective.

I wouldn't. Much more larger stars have gone super nova than our star, and with regular frequency.
I would be dramatic for the human race and all life on earth. I'm not sure humans will be around when it happens.
It is a matter of perspective. For us, it kinda sucks. But it is a happy time for that solar system in the Andromeda galaxy that would have run into our sun when the Andromeda galaxy merges with our own Milky way galaxy.
Our solar system will never die. However the earth will be destroyed by hell fire and then according to the Bible God will create a new earth where righteousness reigns. Our Solar system is healthy and will sustain our planet for zillion of years to come. Rest in peace.

When a piece of dried skin falls off an elephant, there is already skin to replace it. If we are no more, no one would replace us. could be a good thing.
