How many planet in the solar system?

Question:

Answer:
Good question could be 10 or even eleven part of the problem is that there is really no clear definition as to what is a planet. Most people agree that pluto is a planet. There is definatly a 10th object out there similar to a planet but has not yet been clasified. The new body discovered belevide to to larger but less dense than pluto. So now the question is, how large and how dense does an object have to be to be a planet.
They keep finding MORE. They just discovered a new planet after Pluto. I think we're up to nine right now.
Stef wants to say 10
Try eight; Pluto doesn't deserve to be a planet because it is smaller than the new body discovered. and the new body hasn't been classified as a planet as yet. There is ongoing debate on whether to declassify pluto
