Solar system question?

Question:
why is it important for scientist to determine the temperature ,age, and composition of other stars and planets.

Answer:
The more we learn about the universe, the more likely we are to be able to solve problems here on Earth.
because not only they are answering questions about the history and future of our own planet, they are seeing whether conditions would be able to support life, they like to compare things with our own planet... ah! they must be so proud!
When scientists figure out the composition of other stars and planets, they can start to figure out how and when they were created. With temperature, they can figure out the conditions those celestial bodies exist in.
If the star is a certain type, and the planet has water, carbon, CO2, or O2 molecules...they then start looking for plant life. As far as I know, we haven't located one yet, but hope springs eternal.
