Solar nails??? whats the difference??

Question:
I went and got nails done for my wedding and said i would like to have the most natural looking nail.so they said the solar nail was the best...i did some internet research when i got home and for solar nails it say there are 2 different powders one white for the french manicure look and a pink for the nail bed...now when they did my nails they just added a white tip and then the pink powder for the nail bed now the only thing different they did as apposed to acrylic was the lotion and buffing at the end for shine so they dont need to be polished...did i get ripped off? or is that how they do solar nails?

Answer:
Yes, that's how they do solar nails. Solar nails is also better for your nails than acrylic becuase they don't shave off the first couple layers of your nail before it gets applied. It's your real nail underneath when you have solar nails. So when you decide to take them off, your real nail will be just as strong as before.
some places will just do the white tip and the pink powder...but real solar nails are 2 different powders. but you didn't really get ripped off. they really are the best fake nail!!
ummm pretty much YES you got ripped off.if they just put a white tip on and the pink acrylic on the nail bed.those are not solar nails.they gave you a french manicure with a white tip.solar nails is a product that is made by the designers of creative.there is no such thing as a solar nail.that person you went to just pretty much told you what you wanted to hear.the lotion and the buffing is nothing new or special...that goes along with the service.sorry to break the news to ya!! but if you dont get the truth from a reliable nail tech then you wont know
