Where can I find information on how to build my own solar cell an panel?

Question:
I am looking for a solar panel that it has a good randament in absorbing solar energy, and therefore has a small area.
I am asking this because I am living in a village somewhere in Transilvania in Bihor mountains that does not have electricity .
I am writing now from a city named Cluj- from my university.
Please help me in this problem.

here is another without household items but you can order the kit on here.
I began asking the same question about a year ago! Trying to custom build your own solar cell will result in an extreemely time consuming exercise in futility! The one panel i managed to make myself was about six inches by six inches square and about a quarter inch thick. My panel did actually work! It made the needle on my voltmeter move just enough to know it moved. The output was about one-tenth milivolt with no viable current. Building a solar cell takes alot more than can be found in the workshop at ones home. Precision, chemistry, and advanced technics are a small part of what is required to create a cell capable of doing what we want.
. Fortunately for us, the cost is rapidly dropping
