Are there any new planets discovered in our solar system after Pluto? If yes, what are the names.?

Question:

Answer:
Well, there are a lot of Kuiper belt objects, including one larger than Pluto, but they do not qualify to be "planets" according to the newly accepted definition. (Pluto has been demoted, in case you haven't heard.) They are now considered to be "dwarf planets".
no, there are a bagillion kuiper belt objects tho; WAY too many to name.

btw pluto isnt a planet anymore :-(
pluto is no longer a planet and no there are a few but they are not exactly planets like a group of smaller planets
Now that is the question? No there or no other planets ""IN"" our solar system. However there are recently discovered large bodies just outside what we consider our solar system that orbit our sun. The scientific community does not at the moment consider them to be planets which would then expand our solar system, But consider them to be large asteroids. Now these asteroids or roughly the same size as Pluto so now there is talk of declassifying Pluto out of planet status down to large rock.

So I ask if they do declassify Pluto will this make our solar system smaller??
on june 29th 2005,Dr mike brown of california institute of technology declared the discovery of the 10th planet of the solar system,it is currently 97 times farther than the sun than the earth.
planets temporary name is2003 ub313
a permanent name have been proposed by the discoverer and is yet to be finalized
There are no new planets after pluto, and even pluto is no longer a planet. Pluto belongs to a new class called dwarf planets, and the largest dwarf planet is 2003 UB313, now known as Eris, and is bigger than pluto. There are unlikely to be any new planets due to the latest IAU classification of planets, that it must have cleared its neighbourhood (i.e. no other objects besides moons near the orbit) However, there are likely to be many more dwarf planets discovered in the Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud
