Do I need to bring in solar lamps for the winter? Can these be damaged if left to the winter elements?

Question:
They are the ones that have the refectors on the top that take in the sunlight.

Answer:
If you live in an area in which you think you should be concerned about something being damaged during the winter then you probably should be concerned. Bringing something in for the winter and storing it will save you from the possibility of having to replace it in the spring, so it isn't a bad idea to do so.

If water were to get into them and then freeze they could definitely be damaged--bring them in!
i was wondering the same thing.i love mine and i dont want to ruin them when it snows..i think ill take mine in anyways because with snow on them they wont be able to absorb the sunlight that they need to work so...to the garage they go!...
I leave my solar lights out during the winter, they have not been damaged by the winter elements.
