Why do we have more lunar eclipses than solar eclipses?

Question:

Answer:
The moon goes around the earth faster than we go around the sun...
Primarily because the shadow of the earth is much larger than the shadow of the moon.
I don't think there are more...lunar ecplises always happen either 2 weeks before or after a solar eclipse.

But lunar eclipses might be visible to more people than solar eclipses.
The answer of larger Earth shadow is the reason there are more. The incline of the moon orbit may prohibit solar eclipses from being at the same time (2 weeks later or earlier) but the large earth shadow allows more chances forf moon eclipses.
