So how much trash and pollution was produced at the Live Earth concerts?

Question:
I assume the artists all sailed, biked, or walked to the venues.

And the sound systems and satellite broadcasts were all powered with solar and wind energy, right?

Meanwhile, I went biking, hiking, and camping last weekend. I guess that makes my "carbon footprint" pretty small.

What a bunch of hypocritical kooks.

Answer:
What a great point! Also think about all of the people that sat in front of the television watching and how much each television took up energy.

And I would love to see what the concert grounds looked like afterwards. I doubt they recycled all of the water bottles, concert tickets, food containers, etc.
Right and invisble cups were used and noone was allowed to use toilet paper either.

They did more harm with that dang conert than we probably do in a whole year
LOL!
omg i know! they shudve thought about this logically before planning it out i mean come on i think someone in charge must have realized that this is producing more pollution than it is stopping.
Probably equivalent to Al Gore with his private jet in a week's use.
ha ha good point.

Did Metallica charge? Because I know how they are about giving away free music.

not to mention all the animals near by are probably deaf, oh well so much for conservation.
its hard to imagine
