When Is the Next solar Or Lunar Eclipse that will be visible from Newfoundland?

Question:
I need this stuff for an exam soon.

Answer:
The next eclipse will be a total eclipse of the moon on March 3rd. Mid-eclipse happens at 7:51 p.m. Newfoundland Standard Time.

You'll be able to catch a few minutes of the beginning of the next lunar eclipse, August 28th, starting shortly before sunrise at 6:21 a.m.

The next time you'll catch an eclipse of the sun is August 1, 2008, when you might glimpse the slight partial eclipse shortly after the sun comes up.

I'm afraid you have a bit of a wait for a total eclipse of the sun. The soonest one is 17 years away, charting a course across the island from southwest to northeast in the late afternoon of April 8, 2024.
