How many nos of planets in our solar system now ?

Question:

Answer:
eight. Pluto decommissioned.
8, pluto was downgraded to a dwarf planet
well i personally think 8 cause pluto isnt a planet and neither is its moon(some scientist think that is the 10th planet). theyre both just yearly orbiting asteroids.
Officially, 8: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

Pluto is now a "dwarf planet" along with a few others.
Nine! Pluto is a planet.
It's eleven, in march 2006 the twelvth planet was found but five months later Pluto lost it's status as a planet.
First eight are the known planets to us. three other are discovered within these 2-3 years. I dont know their names. But one is between the Sun and Jupiter, the other between Venus and the earth and the other between Uranus and Pluto.
9 planets.
there are now only 8 planets becase pluyo is now nomore a planet. discussion is on about 2 include or not 2 include xena the recently discovered planet which is larger than pluto in the worldwide accepted grup of planets.
there r 11 planets... viz. mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, karla, xena, sedna
Technically till the last few months it was 11 i.e Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars ,Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto,Xena & Sedna However with Pluto and planets its size or smaller being decommissioned now the number reduces to 8 with pluto, xena & sedna losing their status and being demoted to the status of being dwarf planets do not qualify to be called planets officially.
There are officially 8 planets and 3 dwarf planets. Yes there were 9, but better detection techniques required a change in classification rules. In the new rules a planet must orbit a star, have enough gravity to be round, and has to have cleared the neighborhood of it's orbit. Pluto has fails the third requirement and was demoted.

The 3 dwarf planets are Ceres, Pluto, and Eris (sometimes called Xena).
8
A large no. of course

but officially 8 at present
10 including pluto.
there are 9 planets.
Last year NASA has found some other plant. (I dont know the name.)
Pluto is no more a planet.

8
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune .
