Is the solar eclipse always in the new moon?

Question:

Answer:
It has to be. A full moon is when the earth is between the sun & moon. Just like a solar eclipce , the moon must be between the earth and sun. That is the definition of what a new moon is. I hope you won your bet.
It's gotta be, right?
