I'm thinking you mean How fast does the galaxy spin.
It really depend on where in the galaxy you are. If you're near the center, near the theorized giant black hole, then you're going to be spinning around it several times a day.
Now if you're out in the arms of the spiral galaxy (like we are) then it can take thousands of years. Astronomers have measured that it take the Sun about 0.2 x 10^9 years (that's 2 billion) years to revolve ONCE around the galaxy.
I KNOW THE EARTH SPINS AT 1000 MPH, AND TRAVELS THROUGH SPACE AT ~66,000 MPH.

I CANNOT REMEMBER HOW FAST THE SOLAR SYSTEM MOVES, BUT I'M GOING TO LOOK TONIGHT.
