What is the optimal angle and positioning of solar pv cells?

Question:

Answer:
Assuming passive (non-moving) panels, the optimum is to face south, pitched at an angle equal to your latitude.
About 52 degrees south, when on northern hemisphere.
winters lattitude + 15 degree
summer lattitude - 15 degree

Both facing south
South is just normal way. Say your max load is at 3PM noon, you may wanna place them 15 degree west of south
