Used to be 9, but I don't know if they are still counting Pluto. If not, 8.

If you count Pluto 9,if you dont count Pluto 8 and if you believe our solar system is larger than we know there is possibly 10 or more

since Pluto lost it.s statics as a planet the bout 7 real plants but there 5 tiny pants so there is like 12 planets all together.
Scientists debated this for a while. I was all hunky-dory until one scientist decided to argue about Pluto. They than said if Pluto got to be a planet that some other asteriods got to be planets too as well as Planet X. So, we got to 13 planets i think. Then other scientists got mad saying there were too many. So, they compromised and kicked Pluto out giving us 8 planets
