Which planets in the solar system give off at least as much energy as they receive from the Sun?

Question:

Answer:
Voodoid is right. The Jovian planets are also known as gas giants - gravity compresses the gasses so much that they reach temperatures of up to 20,000K in the case of Jupiter.
it`s venus if i`m not made a mistake..
probably because the structure of gases that surrounding its atmosphere..
If, on average, they are not heating up, can not store energy, and do not have photosynthetic life - then all planets radiate at infra-red the same amount of energy as they receive from their Star.
So the answer is all of them, except possibly the earth.

If you take into account heat produced by radio-isotope decay within the planet then you might consider that they radiate more energy than they receive.
Io heats up as it is in an eccentric orbit about jupiter, giving rise to internal strains that heat the satellite. One would assume that if its temperature is more or less constant then it radiates more energy than it receives from the sun.

I would be surprised if any do. Energy can't be created, it can only be transferred, reflected, or changed to a different form of energy.

For any object to give off the same amount of energy that it receives, it would represent a 100% reflection and no absorption.

It's not possible to give off more than 100% unless the planet has it's own energy source.
The Jovian planets: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
