Solar Fan energy?

Question:
Earlier today I was given a question where energy comes from, from a Solar Fan. There were 4 choices, the motor, the solar panel, the batteries, or the fan. Which one is it? Thanks.

Answer:
since one of your choices is not "the sun"
I would say the solar panels.

pholtovotaic (PV) panels turn light into electrical energy

I am suprised that a solar fan has batteries, that is so you can charge the batteries by putting it in a sunny place and charging them with the fan off

if it is dark and the fan is running then the energy is flowing out of the batteries, but the batteries are not making energy, they store it.

the motor turns the electrical energy into kinetic(movement) energy

the fan blades turn the movement of the motor into movement of air.

so, of the 4, it is definitely the panels
