According to the IAU's current definitions there are eight planets in the Solar System. In increasing distance from the Sun, they are:

() Mercury, with no confirmed natural satellites
() Venus, with no confirmed natural satellites
() Earth, with one confirmed natural satellite
() Mars, with two confirmed natural satellites
() Jupiter, with sixty-three confirmed natural satellites
() Saturn, with fifty-six confirmed natural satellites
() Uranus, with twenty-seven confirmed natural satellites
() Neptune, with thirteen confirmed natural satellites

Almost 200 found! Only one or two have noun names (aside from primary star name with subscript "b", "c", etc).
200 but I don't know the names of the others though, France just launched a satellite named COROTto discover more planets so I'm sure ther'ell be more discoveries to come yet in the near future.Stay Tuned
