Can anyone describe information about the use of solar panels for garden fountains or ponds?

Question:
I'm interested in putting ponds or fountains a distance from the source of electricity so I'm thinking solar panels. There's lots of sun so that's no problem.

Answer:
Many garden lights and fountain pumps are solar powered for this very reason, there is a lack of access to electricity.

These products can be purchased at your local nursery and are very similar in cost to their electric counterparts. The installation is no different and the best part is you don't have to pay any electricity costs AND it is better for the environment! Great choice!

There are many websites that sell this product already made, below is a link to one of them:

Greetings, you don't need much for a pump, but you might think about a hidden battery hook up to store some or else on cloudy days it might not run at full tilt. Just punch in Solar Panels on google and make sure you purchase the highest rated panel from an efficiency sense. There are many to choose from and you don't need a big panel.
