Do you think the solar eclipse has an effect on our mood? In what way?

Well, in our case it does. Our town was very much excited when a total solar eclipse more than ten years ago, specifically October 25, 1995. I was a child back then but the hype turned me on and in fact, it was a wonder seeing the moon cover the sun from a colored film strip. It was only worth for a couple of minutes but it was awesome! I could also see that the sky became darker a bit. Much like a once in a lifetime affair.
Maybe i'm just a cold, heartless scientist, but i don't see how the position of a giant rock and a giant ball of gas can affect our moods.
I suppose if you let something affect your mood, then it's not the moon or the stars that affect you, but your mind telling you that you should be affected by it.

Scientifically..I couldn't say. Personally though whenever theres a good eclipse I like to run through cow pastures naked while eating a baloney sandwich.
