Why did God created other planets in our solar system?

Question:

Answer:
He didn't. The planets formed naturally when the solar system did.
why not
So you could ask questions like this.
He pointlessly created them in vain. They serve no purpose. They're there to mock our curiosity.
because he felt like it.
He had some stuff left over.
So we could have a place to eventually send all our waste.
Why did God create people like you? Perhaps he needed a good laugh.
God never stops creating. He is never idle and he is brilliant at creating all things. God is not a minimalist who creates as little as possible but a grand designer of a scope we have difficulty in comprehending and a master of artistry, a creator of beauty and of limitless power.
Look at the whole universe, we can never stop learning from it.
To keep the atheist busy
To give man something to ponder besides self.
To give us something to terraform when we finally put our resources together and stop killing each other in his name.
astrology, the other planets have an effect upon life on earth
He only created earth. The other planets have other Gods.
As decoration for the sky. Something beautiful to look at.
Can you imagine what this world would be like if it was found that on other planets there was a civilization, and they had a exact story as ours, and they believed in the same God and Jesus Christ. Not only would the people of this world fall on their faces and pray for forgiveness but they would do the same on the other planet also...we can't answer fo God
I would suggest that He called them stars, but we call them planets if they exceed a certain size requirement.

Maybe God should have gone to school and learned from man, right?

Seems like a lot of people in this group would second that motion.

They're an earth balance and God will reign on earth one day and show us how to explore and enjoy them more. I honestly believe that one day we will not need cars and airplanes but we will transport spiritually from place to place. Millions of miles a second may be possible with God. If it is possible, it will be made known to us. The Lord eventually lets us know all things.
According to the book of Genesis, God created the sun, moon and stars (which would include the other planets in out solar system - the Hebrews used the same word for both) as "signs to show the time and the seasons".

Throughout history man has been using them for just that purpose, constructing everything from simple lunar calendars to monuments like Stonehenge to track the movement of the stars and planets. They were essential for the people to know when it was the right tine for planting, harvesting, and other important activities.
so we will have other places to run to when we kill off this planet.
Not only did God create planets, he also created many solar systems. These solar systems group up to form our galaxy called the Milky Way. Each solar system has a star like our sun - and there are 100 billion such stars in one galaxy.

That is not all. There are also 100 billion galaxies which form a universe. If we were to calculate the number of stars in the universe, we will need to say;

100 billion multiply by 100 billion = 10 000 billion billion stars!! (If there is such a number!).

The God who created all these stars know each one by name. And there are more planets than there are stars! That is so phenomenal! That shows how great a God this is! How magnificent is he!
