Where can I get a solar powered shed light that turns on automatically when the shed door is opened?

Question:
This is for a regular sized garden shed, maybe 2m x 3m. I'd like to put a small solar panel on the roof to catch the sunlight. This should charge the batteries in a lighting unit. The batteries do not need to power the light for a long time (maybe 30 minutes). I would like the light to come on automatically when I open the door and go off when I close it again. A mechanical switch fitted to the door would be fine (like in a fridge). A rough price guide would also be useful. Many thanks in advance...

Answer:
You can buy inexpensive solar chargers for your car usually with a cigarette adapter on the end... cut it off. A 12 volt car battery to connect it to... The light source has to be 12 volt so go to a marine or RV supplier and buy a 12 volt setup of as many lights as you want. Connect the whole mess up and away you go. You should budget about $200 for the whole thing.
B&Q sell these switches for use in fitted bedroom units usualy in electic wire etc
Sounds like you should invent it yourself.

Solar power garden light are already available B&Q, Hombase etc. they require to be exposed to daylight and will only come on when sensor is in dark. Price of these varies.

Alternative would be to fit a solar panel (very costly) and would require expert knowledge to make work for your requirements.

Good Luck
try "Harbor Freight"
Hi try Canadiantire.com or any RV appliance store for this.
