What is the exact difference between solar and acrylic nails?

Question:

Answer:
1) The difference between acrylic/solar nails are virtually nonexistant to the naked eye, but solar nails do protect your nail beds from the harmful UV rays that can damage your nails and turn your tips yellow after a week or two.

2) Average price will vary according to the level of establishment you go to to get them done. Don't expect to pay much over fifty, though, or less than twenty-five, for a decent fill.

3) You should get them re-done every two weeks--that is how long the bonding is intended to last, past that, they can start to lift, and if they lift and germs or moisture get under the nails, you could get a very painful and expensive (not to mention unattractive) fungus that can take months to get rid of.

4) Don't avoid doing anything--you'll get used to the extra length, but unless they are ultra-long, there's nothing you shouldn't be able to do.

5) Remember, the longer they get, the less dramatic the colors should be. And while square tips look fantastic when short, as they get longer, square can look fake, and round looks more natural when longer.
Solar nails are made of powder & do not yellow & acrylic are more of a plastic & they yellow after a while. Solar nails are thicker than acrylic nails. I prefer solar nails. They are prettier & easier to up keep & dont break as easily. I hope this helps :)
