Whats the maximum a solar cell can give energy kept in sun for 24 hrs?
Question:
Answer:
That's a strange question, because the only places on earth where it can be sunny for 24 hours straight it's not really bright enough for a solar power to be useful. On the other hand, near the equator it might be intensely bright all day and dark all night. That's where you'd want a solar panel. I've heard earth gets about 1000 watts of light per square yard. If a solar panel is 30% efficient then a square yard of it will make 300 watts on a sunny day all day. If it's sunny for 10 hours then you've made 3 kilowatt hours.
