Are there other solar systems?
Question:
Answer:
No dear
SOLAR sistem just ours
The others are STAR sistems
Billions in the universe. Quite a few in our own Milky Way. A solar system in a series of "planets" that revolve around a star. Pretty common.
Yes, there are... More than expected. There are also rumors about another dimension or whatever. We're just a tiny dot in the Universe.
Actually there can be only one SOLAR system as the star in reference is "Sol" or our sun. But there are countless (well many, many, many) other stellar systems with planets.
Keep an eye out. (Build a planet and they will come.)
There are probably many systems much like ours even within our own galaxy. Here is a link to one site below that features some photos from the Hubble telescope. From a Mormon point of view, I could add a non-scientific reference to a small book of scripture in the Pearl of Great Price, where Moses was shown a vision of the history of man from the beginning of measured time onward, and where God also told him, "And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten." Interesting how science is catching up. Anyway, it might explain why science fiction is so popular, because some of it isn't really fiction after all.
There is having no boundaries to Universe. With infinite Galaxies. I'm not too sure but my Teacher told me that there are many solar system in just our Galaxy.
