when there's a pretty big storm,some traffic lights fail to work. and on a busy road,can be dangerous. we all have to go back to "give way to your right". and in the city,most people dont know how to do that.they've always relied on the lights to guide them.

yes that's good thinking, they should also mandate burying all power lines so people don't lose power due to down lines in storms, these things would save lives.
I think solar back up would help a lot, since when traffic lights stop working a lot of car accidents, and confusion come forth.
No it's not a go idea people should just learn how to drive .
