What is the ticker for Trina Solar (TSL) in the Asian Markets and what site is good to chart it in Asia?

Question:

Answer:
Trina Solar is not traded in the Asian Markets. It's only traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

This is because not necessarily the company just went public here in the US -- the Chinese shares are not publically traded. The fact that the shares are ADR's just means it is a foriegn corporation. You can see in their SEC filings all the info. So basically what happened is that the private Chinese corporation of Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd wanted its wholly owned subsidary Trina Solar to go public in the US. So they deposited some of the Chinese shares, which were not publically traded, in the US for the IPO.
