Well, there's nine so far - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. However, scientists have discovered other planets that orbit our Sun that are even further out than Pluto! So there's a possibility that we may update our information involving the solar system sometime in the future.
Well it's was all over the news a few moths ago that they found a 10th planet.
If you question is 'how many planets in OUR solar system?' then, Its 9.
the general concensus is 9 but if im not mistaken there was a 10th "planet" in our solar system that has yet to be confirmed and accepted as a planet

There are 8 planets in the solar system. Pluto's status is currently in debate and "Sedna" the so called 10th planet has yet to be formally recognised.
