Can the solar cells be used?
Question:
Answer:
Of course yes ! Solar cells are being used in various situations which is remote from the power grids. e.g. watches, calculators, satellites, space probes, radiotelephone, lights, inverter, waterpumping
See this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/solar_cell...
It depends on the situation.
If you have a reasonable amount of available sunshine,
if you have a sufficiently large open area for installation,
if you have a need for electrical power which may fluctuate a lot,
if you have a large battery capacity for electrical storage,
if you have the proper electronics to regulate the output of the solar cells,
you can do a lot of things with solar cells.
Depending on your application, you may have to consider only a few of the above conditions.
Examples: Recreational Vehicles, (trailers, motor homes, etc) use solar cells to keep batteries charged, and large structures such as The Mall of America use huge arrays to supply about 1/3 of their electrical power.
You would have to evaluate each specific case carefully.
